Computoscore is a user-friendly software application from Computomarx, the leader in track and field software. Computoscore was introduced at the 1986 Big Ten Cross-Country Championships and since then has been successfully used in many college, high school, and youth meets. Computoscore produces team scores and individual results in an attractive format in a matter of minutes, even for large meets with up to 100 teams and 1000 runners.

FEATURES:

• Builds an input file of all meet data including site information, team names, classes if any, runners' names and year in school, and automatically assigns race numbers.
• Prints input file for use as a program and to insure that data is correctly entered.
• Builds finish order file, requiring only race numbers to be input either from keypad or using a bar code reader.
• Builds runners' times file, either using system clock, or by hand. System clock timing does not tie up computer. User may pick up a running time.
• Calculates team score and prints team results, overall and by class, if any. Individuals or teams with less than five finishers are automatically dropped from team scoring unless feature is overridden. Calculates scores using NCAA, NFSHSA, or other rules, including variable numbers of scorers and pushers and aggregate time scoring. Ties broken or not according to rules of governing body. Non-scoring teams permitted.
• Prints individual results overall and by class, if any.
• Allows easy correction of incorrectly input data.
• Program automatically detects many types of incorrect input from the user.
• Presently available for Apple Macintosh (all models with at least 1 MB running System 6.05 or higher, including OS8) and MS-DOS (version 2.0 or higher). Includes disk with complete documentation.
